Get the Minding Your Mind app to support your care journey
Researchers at the Brain and Mind Centre alongside young people have created the ‘Minding Your Mind’ app. It is a tool to help you track your mental health, identify patterns, learn tips and tricks to manage your mental health day to day and empower you to make decisions about your own mental health.
Learn about personalised care from data you already have
Minding Your Mind helps you learn about and take control of your mental health. It features comprehensive tracking of your sleep, activity, mood, symptoms, and behaviours to get a more detailed picture of you and provides you with personalised insights and evidence-based strategies to help you self-manage your mental health.
“There are so many aspects of our circumstances and lives that are out of our control, including aspects of our mental health journey. It can be hard to find support that works for you. This app allows you to focus on the aspects of your mental health that are in your control! – Joey, Lived Experience Researcher
Keep track of your mental health
Assess and monitor your mood, how you're sleeping, and what's going on in your life all in one place to build a clear picture of your mental health.

Real time graphs
See your mental health data in real time graphs. This can help you identify patterns, trends, and visually see how things have changed over time.

Link with Apple Health
Connect to your Apple Health account to automatically sync your sleep and health data. No manual entry needed. Just a more complete picture of your mental health all in one place.
Evidence-based strategies
Explore practical tips and strategies grounded in evidence and shaped by young people who understand what it's like. Covering the things that affect your mental health most, sleep, physical health, anxiety and negative thoughts, social connections, and purposeful activities.
Privacy your way
All data you enter into the app is kept confidential and can't be linked to your identity. You can choose to contribute your deidentified data to research to improve our understanding of youth mental health.

Youth Mental Health Model
If you're receiving mental health treatment, tracking your data gives you and your clinician a clearer picture and makes you an active part of your own care. You can spot what's actually helping, uncover what's making things harder, and walk into every appointment with something concrete to share, helping you and your clinician make better decisions together.
